Inspired by ‘Yakisugi’, a Japanese method of wood preservation using fire.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eThe orientation and form of this bowl is chosen to highlight some beautiful grain.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll pieces are stamped with my makers mark, a very subtle ‘H’ on the underside so as to not detract from the beauty of the object. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- had wash \/ wipe down only.
