It was a risk to take this on as many have failed in the past but thankfully it worked and I couldn’t be more delighted with the outcome. The rim is slightly out of round, a reminder that is has endured a 1000 degree flame. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eSourced from trees that had to be felled due to Ash Dieback in woodland adjoining the workshop. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eThe object has been scorched with a blowtorch then meticulously burnished, removing loose char and bringing the surface to a slight polish.
