More often than not there is natural staining within the material that I acquire from our woodland. These bits are perfect for my yakisugi projects but when it comes this clean it’s an obvious choice to leave it natural. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSometimes I can get quite torn whether to scorch the object or not. I had actually intended to burn this one but it was so beautiful in this natural state I decided to keep it like this. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFinished using an ‘invisible’ tung oil which maintains the natural pale colour of the material.
