More often than not there is natural staining within the material that I acquire from our woodland. These bits are perfect for my yakisugi projects but when it comes this clean it’s an obvious choice to leave it natural.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis piece has some beautiful wide grain patterns and a little ripple in places. I’ve been really enjoying playing with these rim, lip and foot details recently.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bowl is finished using an ‘invisible’ tung oil which maintains the natural pale colour of the material.
