More often than not there is natural staining or mineral deposits  within the material that I acquire from our woodland. These bits are perfect for my yakisugi projects but when it comes this clean it’s an obvious choice to leave it natural.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI really like the look of this form when scorched so I was a little torn what to do. However I looked at those olive streaks and knew I couldn’t hide them. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFinished using an ‘invisible’ tung oil which maintains the natural pale colour of the material.
