The Havelock Coffee Table - handmade from walnut.

The top is made from pieces of walnut which are glued together making a stable piece and the shape is carved by hand using a wood turning lathe. A laborious yet satisfying process.

The central portion is the core of the structure and three holes are drilled deep into it which accept the legs providing a very strong joint. 

The thin edge detail gives a certain elegance whilst the curved underside ensures the table looks attractive from all angles. A brass pin marks the centre of the piece providing a visual focus and a convergence point for the legs below. 

The legs are also hand turned and rounded with a hemisphere at the base making the table appear to only lightly touch the floor. 

Finished with a homemade blend of linseed oil and beeswax.
